Michelle Edge promoted to partner
We’re thrilled to announce that Michelle Edge has been appointed as a partner at Eleven Hundred Agency – a move that marks a new milestone in the agency’s journey.
Michelle has been with Eleven Hundred since the very beginning, quite literally. As the agency’s very first hire seven years ago, she’s played a central role in shaping its voice, positioning, and reputation for smart, high-impact B2B tech PR.
Before joining Eleven Hundred, Michelle trained and practised as a corporate lawyer. Initially drawn to PR for a better work-life balance, she quickly discovered a passion for the tech sector and the challenge of strategic communications.
“I came for the flexibility, but stayed because I genuinely love what I do,” she says. “The tech landscape is always moving forward, and every client brings something new to learn. The agency founders, Claire and Mike, built something truly special, and I’m excited to help shape what’s next with the same commitment to high standards, meaningful work, and an exceptional team.”
As well as being a sharp communicator and strategic thinker, Michelle is known inside the agency for her well-rounded perspective, dedication, and collaborative leadership style. Her promotion reflects not just her individual contributions, but also the collegial, high-performing culture that has shaped Eleven Hundred from the beginning.
The appointment also brings a neat symmetry to the agency’s story. The agency’s name, Eleven Hundred, comes from the Roman numerals M and C — a nod to its original founders, Mike King and Claire Ayles. With Mike’s recent retirement, we’re delighted to welcome a new “M” to the partnership.
